Foursquare Tips

  • The rice is seasoned perfectly and the fish, hand-selected by Nozawa, might be as good could be at this price point. With many locations, it's L.A.'s patented sushi concept with remarkable quality.
  • Let the chef decide what you should feast on. Thats how Chef Kazunori Nozawa has cultivated such loyal clientele. Youll get the best, because he knows whats best &, more importantly, whats fresh.
  • Sign up for their email club and get a free trust me on your birthday!
  • Trust me is the way to go.
  • Seriously, the BEST sushi I've ever had! I'm talking melt-in-your-mouth kind of good.
  • My favorite salmon.
  • The rice is very very sweet
  • Amazing sushi. Don't expect any fancy, fried rolls here. The fish is simple and fresh. Nom nom nom.
  • Trust Me - fail safe!
  • The Trust Me was really good although I'm really full now. There's parking at the Athena Structure on Grand. They validate at night, but not during the day.
  • If you love fresh sashimi, you came to the right place. Order the Nozawa to get a great experience of flavors!
  • Amazing! Most delicious sushi Ive ever tried!!!
  • Wait is long, but the food is fast -- seated to check in less than 45 minutes. Rice is very sweet and a little too tangy. Fish melts in your mouth.
  • the sushi rice is warm so don't spend eternity taking the perfect pictures. Your rice would have cooled down by then and be lame
  • Large scallops & salmon sushi are my favorites, with the blue crab hand roll coming in a close second. If you're hungry & it's a good daily special, then "The Nozawa" is usually the better deal.
  • Probably one of the best I've ever had ! Everything was great
  • Best bang for your buck sushi
  • Great sushi place with a very particular way of doing things. If there is a long wait, head over to Bottega Louie for drinks and appetizers.
  • Simple menu to navigate. Sushi, rolls and sashimi are pretty much all there is. Excellent quality, housemade ponzu and soy, rice melts in your mouth. No dessert. The wait is about 45-60 mins.
  • Old school Japanese style sushi. Crispy seaweed, warm rice and fresh fish make perfect hand rolls. Set menus are nicely paced and bring satisfaction to the taste buds.
