Tips

  • Gambit's Best of New Orleans Readers' Poll 2011 Winner: Best Place for Desserts
  • Order a sundae!
  • Beautiful treats are stylish works of art.
  • Gambit's Best of New Orleans Readers' Poll 2012 Winner: Best Sweet Shop
  • The service sucks sometimes. Spend far too much time buttering up parties with too many people. Occasionally rude and unfocused, but otherwise delicious desserts. Avoid the crystalline gelato.
  • You see ice cream, you see desserts but walk a little more you will see chocolate! Yes
  • At Sucr, indulge in macaroons that approach works of art. -Travel Editor
  • There is amazing chocolates here
  • Beautiful, like a European patisserie.
  • Can't pick a macaroon flavor? Ask for a sample.
  • Best macaroons in the country! If you have a sweet tooth or need to send a perfect gift, Sucre is perfect. Visit the store or shop them online at Taigan.com
  • Great Gelatos, but please don't get tasters of every flavour when there's a queue, it's just rude
  • Everything
  • Everything!
  • The salted carmel macaroons are delish
  • hef Tariq Hanna crafts king cakes with handmade Danish dough, sweet cream cheese filling, light sugar glaze and glitter on top. @Gambit
  • It's like a jewelry store where beautifully crafted pastry replaces diamonds in the cases. Gelato is incredible, but the macarons are absolutely sinful. My pick is the banana foster or salted caramel.
  • The coconut basil gelato is perfect.
  • Excellent coconut basil sorbet. Don't let the term sorbet fool you. Lemon curd is refreshing.
