Yes, You Can Cook Meat Directly From Frozen In Your Air Fryer
By Matthew Wilson
The air fryer is convenient for those with busy schedules who don't have time to cook on the stove, and you can cook meat straight from the freezer without thawing it out.
You can cook anything in your air fryer, including poultry, beef, pork, and seafood. It takes about one and a half times as long to cook frozen meat versus thawed or fresh meat.
Each protein has an ideal cooking temperature for the best quality. For example. chicken generally cooks at 400 degrees F, while meatloaf is done at 325 degrees F.
Depending on the type of protein, your meal can be done in under 30 minutes or even 10 minutes for shrimp. Larger air fryers may cook food slightly faster than smaller devices.
When cooking frozen food, be careful about excess moisture dripping in the air fryer. Some meats, such as whole roasts and chickens, may not fit inside and shouldn't be forced.
