Where Is Potato Parcel From Shark Tank Today?
By Angel Albring
On episode 805 of “Shark Tank,” Riad Bekhit and Alex Craig pitched their Potato Parcel business, which allows customers to send messages written on potatoes. They were seeking a $50,000 investment with a 10% return and received offers from investors Kevin O'Leary and Robert Herjavec, with O'Leary's offer winning.
Since its appearance on the show, Potato Parcel has accumulated a net worth of $1.75 million, with O’Leary calling it "the best pitch for the worst product." It has even branched out into offering customers photo messages, glitter bombs, various gift bundles, potato squishy toys, cards, socks, and more — including video messages.
The company has since taken an economic and environmentally friendly approach to its business, donating one potato to local food banks for each one they sell. Potato Parcel encourages its customers to plant their potatoes and share videos via social media. It even ships internationally, making for another “Shark Tank” success story.
