NEW YORK, NEW YORK - DECEMBER 30: Celebrity Chef Brandon Fay, owner of the fast-casual takeout restaurant ‘Pasta By Hudson’, opens his new location in Chelsea on December 30, 2020 in New York City. Although the pandemic continues to burden restaurants due to ongoing government restrictions forcing many to shut down, Fay decided to still open his new restaurant. Where Is Pasta By Hudson From Shark Tank Today?
By Arianna Endicott
Brandon Fay’s restaurant Pasta by Hudson was inspired by his daughter Hudson’s love for pasta, and he wanted to expand the business by creating a faster and fresher experience.
It’s why he appeared on Season 11, Episode 17 of “Shark Tank,” and after wowing the sharks with his pasta dishes, he managed to strike a deal with Lori Greiner and Mark Cuban.
However, in a December 2020 Facebook post, Pasta by Hudson revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic had shut down the restaurant's location at Turnstyle Underground Market.
Lori Greiner still supported the business during this difficult period, and the restaurant persevered and was able to open a brick-and-mortar location in Chelsea.
The 7th Avenue location in Chelsea opened in 2020 and features an outdoor café and gazebo, serving pizza, pasta, beer, and wine.
It also has a second sister location called The Perry Club, which features a slightly different vibe with two speakeasy-style rooms.
