Where Is Oat Haus From Shark Tank Today?
By David Tran
Oat Haus' granola butter claims to be the world's first oat-based spread and is the invention of Eric Katz, Ali Bonar, and Ari Schraer. However, during their Season 13, Episode 3 appearance on “Shark Tank,” the inventors failed to secure a deal and were even questioned as to how their products were different from what’s already on the market.
After the airing of the “Shark Tank” episode, Oat Haus co-founder Ali Bonar told Philadelphia Business Journal that its sales spiked 300%. Bonar said while younger demographics made up a majority of its buyers, “Shark Tank” allowed the company to expand to older groups.
Its products are now sold in many retailers, such as Di Bruno Brothers, Weavers Way Co-Op, and REAP Mini-Mart in Philadelphia. A 2021 press release states that Oat Haus has also tapped “The Good Place” actress Jameela Jamil as an investor and social impact advisor.
