Where Is Numilk From Shark
Tank Today?
By David Tran
Numilk was invented by Joe Savino and Ari Tolwin, and unlike typical store-brand plant-based milk, Numilk products are free from preservatives and are made from organic ingredients. You very likely have seen white Numilk almond milk machines at Whole Foods, which allow you to make your own milk with a few clicks of buttons.
On their “Shark Tank” appearance in Season 12, Episode 18, Savino and Tolwin asked for $1 million in return for 5% ownership of Numilk. Sharks Kevin O’Leary and Mark Cuban both made offers, and Tolwin and Savino went with Cuban’s offer of $2 million — $1 million for 7% ownership in Numilk, plus an optional $1 million loan at a 3% interest for a 3% stake in advisory shares.
Since appearing on “Shark Tank,” Numilk is now valued at $55 million, and in June 2022, the company announced on Instagram that it is phasing out its kiosk machines in order to prioritize its other product lines, Numilk Home and Numilk Pro. NuMilk Pro is a mini version of its kiosk machines tailored for cafes and restaurants, and NuMilk Pro is a pouched version of the product that comes in different flavors.
