Where Is Just The Cheese From Shark Tank Today?
By Margaret McCormick
In Season 11 of Shark Tank, David Scharfman donned a bright orange suit with a cheese hat and tie to pitch "Just The Cheese," a line of crunchy, keto-friendly snacks made with just one ingredient — Wisconsin cheddar cheese. Fans of the show may wonder where Scharfman has gone with his product since his appearance.
When Scharfman asked for $500,000 in exchange for a 5% share of his business, three sharks proposed alternative offers, but he declined all three. The brand seems to be doing well regardless, as you can find the product line in 2,500 supermarkets and big-box stores nationwide.
In late 2022, Scharfman's cheesy snack brand was purchased by John B. Sanfilippo & Son Inc., a company with a long history of producing nuts and snacks. The brand continues going strong today, with David Zinczenko, the founder of "Eat This, Not That," stating, "You can't beat these baked cheese bars for an authentic cheesy taste that you can take on the go."
