Where Is IceShaker From Shark Tank Today?
By David Tran
IceShaker is a brand that sells double-walled, insulated protein shaker bottles that can hold ice for 30 hours in a 75-degree Fahrenheit room, and it was created by former NFL fullback Chris Gronkowski. Gronkowski appeared on "Shark Tank" Season 9, Episode 4, and made a deal with Mark Cuban and Alex Rodriguez for $150,000 in exchange for a 15% stake in his company.
IceShaker's sales grew from $80,000 to $3 million less than a year after the episode's airing. Ice Shaker bottles were originally only available in a 26 oz bottle, but since its appearance on Shark Tank, the company has expanded to over 140 bottle selections, selling tumblers, jugs, and sports bottles in a variety of sizes.
During Shark Tank Season 10, Alex Rodriguez stated his aim to help the business sell its products in The Vitamin Shoppe, GNC, and Lifetime Fitness locations, though he would later sell his shares back to Gronkowski. The brand has also capitalized on the Gronkowski name by selling limited edition "Gronk"-themed shaker bottles.
