Where Is Blondie's Cookies From Shark Tank Today?
By Crystal Antonace
Blondie's Cookies, founded by Brenda Coffman, got its start in the mid-1980s in Indiana before branching out to Florida and finding success. To expand her business of innovative homemade cookies, Coffman came to "Shark Tank" in 2012, but upon finding out that Blondie's Cookies was losing money and Coffman had borrowed $800,000 in loans, no sharks were willing to invest.
Even though Brenda Coffman left "Shark Tank" without a deal, the publicity she garnered from her television appearance gave her the opportunity to sell her cookies outside the U.S. and to various locations across America. Fast forward to 2023, and Blondie's Cookies is expanding with a new production facility located in Greentown, Indiana, which gives her more storage and aesthetic appeal to host local events.
Since debuting on the show, Coffman has seen an uptick in online retail sales and expanded the company's fundraising division; in 2020, her cookies began being featured and sold in Indiana-based stores. The company has also partnered with delivery companies such as Grubhub, and there are currently seven Blondie's Cookies storefronts with hopes of a franchise-based model of operation in the future.
