Where Is Baby's Badass Burgers From Shark Tank Today?
By Nico Danilovich
Baby’s Badass Burgers, a food truck business that aims to serve the perfect burger, was founded by Erica Cohen and Lori Barbera, who appeared on Season 4, Episode 24 of “Shark Tank.” They sought $250,000 in exchange for 30% of their business, but the Sharks couldn’t believe they wanted to leave behind their food truck strategy, and no deal was made.
Eventually, owners Cohen and Barbera achieved their dream of attaining a storefront, in addition to expanding their food truck’s range throughout Southern California, and even into Houston and New Orleans. Their physical location is in Local Kitchens, an Orange County establishment that brings together a handful of different brands in a half food hall, half ghost kitchen setup.
Cohen explained that a storefront had always been the company's goal from the very beginning, delayed only by economic hardship. She hailed the Local Kitchens idea as genius, but noted that, "As a brand, you have to make sure your product is represented exactly."
