Entrepreneurs Francesco Brachetti, Alberto Gramigni, and Alessandro Biggi are the creative force behind Avocaderia, a business serving imaginative avocado dishes. On Season 9, Episode 22 of “Shark Tank,” they sought $300,000 for 10% of the company and eventually struck a deal with Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran for $400,000 for 20% equity.
Shortly after their appearance on “Shark Tank,” the business shared that they would be expanding to a few other New York locations in the coming year. According to their website, they have since expanded throughout New York and now have four locations across Manhattan, maintaining a 3.5 out of 5-star score on Yelp.
Based on Avocaderia’s social media presence on Instagram, the three founding entrepreneurs are still finding ways to get creative with avocados and keep business booming. In 2022, they opened a location on 5th Avenue in New York, began selling Avocaderia-based apparel, and even launched a breakfast cart service for the busy streets of New York City.
