When To Go To Texas Roadhouse To Avoid
Wait Times
By Christine Barba
If you're craving honey cinnamon butter and rolls or a Smokehouse Burger, you may have Texas Roadhouse in mind, but you may also wonder whether there are better times than others to visit the restaurant and avoid a long wait time. Thankfully, one Texas Roadhouse employee has answered this question on a Reddit thread.
The employee recommends visiting the steakhouse at the start of the week, particularly on Mondays or Tuesdays, and notes that there isn't usually a large crowd on Sundays. Thursdays may have more customers lining up, but visiting the restaurant on Thursdays is still a better option than doing so on Fridays and Saturdays, as weekends are prime time for dining out.
The employee also writes that Wednesdays are always crowded because of the WildWest Wednesday special deal. If you're planning a weekend meal, some patrons say the best time to go is on Saturdays, and the consensus is that, in general, there is a huge lunch crowd at noon, and the dinner crowd starts at 4:15 pm, so your best bet is to arrive between 1 and 2 pm.
