What You Should Know Before Getting A Caesar Salad At The Costco Food Court
By Kalea Martin
While some Costco shoppers enjoy Costco's Caesar salad, it isn't a reliable option compared to the food court's mainstays like pizza or hot dogs.
According to online feedback, customers have noticed that the quality of Costco's Caesar salad is inconsistent and depends on the employee who makes it.
On the food court menu, the Caesar salad is advertised as being made with their famous $4.99 rotisserie chicken, but Costco customers aren't entirely convinced this is the case.
Many who have tried it swear that it's actually made with canned chicken, while others claim that it's the hand-pulled chicken in the vacuum-sealed bags from the deli section.
The biggest complaints are that the chicken is always cut into irregular-sized pieces that are far too big for a salad, and employees don't even bother removing the cartilage.
Another issue with the Caesar salad is its price. Before the pandemic, the salad only cost $3.99, but when rotisserie chicken was added, the price jumped to $6.99.
