Transform Any Boring Store-Bought Salad Into A Delicious Wrap
By Betsy Parks
A store-bought salad, though convenient, can be a bland and unsatisfying lunch. You can make it into a tastier and more filling meal by transforming it into a handheld wrap.
All you need is a crunchy bag of greens and veggies, your favorite dressing, a tortilla wrap, and a little protein to satisfy and satiate you so you don't get hungry later.
Add any combination of chicken or tofu, grains, grated cheese, beans, and nuts to your salad, toss it with the dressing, and then simply roll it up into a wrap.
You don't have to limit yourself to just traditional salad greens for your wraps. Store-made salads like egg, tuna, and chicken salads are also very satiating in a wrap.
Add some zing to mayonnaise-based salads by adding some zesty vinaigrette or pickle juice. You can also combine different salads or add a smear of store-bought hummus.
