Totally Enhance Your Frozen Waffles With Just A Few Drops Of Water
By Elizabeth Thorn
Cooking frozen waffles in the oven can dry them out, but by adding a few drops of water, you can ensure that they stay moist and fluffy while they cook.
Since frozen waffles already have moisture, adding too much water can ruin them. Just a few drops will create steam, creating a crispy exterior and a light, fluffy interior.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and use your fingers to sprinkle a few drops onto each side of your waffle. Then, toast it until it’s golden brown on the outside.
To further enhance frozen waffles, try Martha Stewart’s trick, which involves tossing freshly made waffles between your hands to let the steam out and prevent sogginess.
