There's A Very Good Reason Why Gordon Ramsay Won't Touch Plane Food

Gordon Ramsay once said in an interview with Refinery29, “There's no f***ing way I eat on planes.” While it may seem obvious for a professional chef to despise airplane food, Ramsay doesn't only avoid it because of his extensive culinary background.
In the early 2000s, Ramsay spent a decade as a culinary advisor for Singapore Airlines, where he assisted them with menu development and the experience had an impact on him. In the same interview, Ramsay explained, “I worked for airlines for ten years, so I know where this food's been and where it goes, and how long it took before it got on board.”
If you're not as selective as the multi-Michelin-starred chef, you may want to first explore the foods and beverages that you should never eat on a flight. If you are, then it is probably best to bring your own snacks, stick to in-flight booze, or just fall asleep.
