The Worst Time To Stop By McDonald's, According To One Company Insider

TikTok’s favorite former corporate chef, Mike Haracz, warns viewers to avoid visiting McDonald’s at 10:30 in the morning, as it’s the restaurant’s most chaotic time of the day.
Haracz explains how, in addition to shift changes and more customers, every piece of kitchen equipment makes the switch to lunch and can’t be used to make breakfast anymore.
Hashbrowns are cooked on a rack, while fries get cooked in big wire baskets. They are also cooked at different temperatures and for different amounts of time.
The grills also change time and temperature, so employees can’t make eggs and sausage anymore if they’re making burgers.
The kitchen uses a universal holding cabinet (UHC) to store premade food. If they're not making lunch until 10:30, there could be no food in the UHC, causing longer wait times.
