The Worst Day Of The Week To Order From A Fast Food Restaurant
By Chase Shustack
Most of us have experienced a trip to a fast-food restaurant only to be met with wrong orders, cold food, crowded dining rooms, and overworked employees. Luckily, there's a time frame you should avoid to escape the pitfalls of fast food, and according to some fast-food employees, there may be one select weekday to avoid altogether.
Monday is the worst day to satisfy a fast food craving because, according to one employee via Quora, fast-food restaurants usually don't have their top-performing employees on the schedule that day. Also, most fast-food restaurants don't receive their delivery of fresh food until Tuesday or change the oil on Mondays, meaning they'll be serving week-old buns and fries for a day.
Mondays and Tuesdays are reported to be the slowest days for fast-food restaurants, whereas Saturdays and Sundays are said to be the two busiest days. Since Tuesday is often delivery day, it makes sense that Tuesday may be the best day to go, but you might not get the best service, as the highest-performing employees typically work on the weekend.
