The Utensil Mistake You Need To Avoid When Grilling Burgers

Whether you're cooking burgers over a charcoal grill or right on the stovetop, never poke them with a fork because the juices from your burger will run.

When the juices run from a burger, it allows the burger to dry up, leaving you and your guests with a dry burger that lacks the right flavor and texture.

Although you don't want juices to escape, cooking burgers in a pan is less risky because they can be absorbed into the burger. If you're using a grill, the juices will escape.

Resist the urge to poke your burgers with a fork and allow them to cook on a lower heat. The inside will have time to cook before the outside burns, resulting in perfect patties.
