The Unexpected Place You Can Find A Discontinued Fan-Favorite Taco Bell Item
By Elaina Friedman
Taco Bell’s discontinued menu items have become legendary, with the Mexican Pizza recently returning from the franchise's menu graveyard because of its popularity with fans. Other items have remained off the menu, like the Enchirito and the Grilled Stuft Nacho, but one person has found a beloved menu item far south of the border.
If you book a ticket to Santiago, Chile, you'll discover what Grub Street's Daniel Maurer was able to find on the digital menu there — the 7 Layer Burrito. The beloved vegetarian item has been out of commission in the U.S. since the summer of 2020 when Taco Bell simplified its menu.
