Adamjan shows his five million followers that they only need a microwave-safe cup for this hack. Place the tortilla inside the cup to retain the raised side shape that hard shells have, and then put it inside the microwave for 30 seconds to one minute to create a perfectly crisped, hard-shelled tortilla.

Because Armen Adamjan's microwave tortilla hack was so popular — gaining close to 30,000 likes and 2,000 shares on TikTok alone — he went on to share the hack on national television. The TikTok star shared his expertise in the cooking world on the "Today" show in September, even surprising host Craig Melvin when it came out perfectly crispy and crunchy.
