The Skewer Tip You Need To Easily Grill Asparagus
By Laura Zbinden
Grilling asparagus is usually not a good idea because the spears end up falling through the slots of your grill and into the fire.
However, there is a simple hack involving skewers that allows you to ditch the aluminum foil and cook asparagus directly on the grill.
Both metal and wooden ones will do the trick, but if you choose wooden ones, make sure to soak them in water overnight so they don't catch fire while on the grill.
After doing all the prep work and seasoning, grab one piece of asparagus at a time and stab it with the skewer through the center.
Thread them in a perpendicular fashion to fit more on each skewer. Then, toss them onto the grill for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping them every few minutes until they’re tender.
