The Simplest In-N-Out Menu Secret Has Been Right In Front Of You
By Brandon Bombay
In-N-Out offers many off-menu items and hacks, but one of the best custom requests is one that simply makes your burger easier to eat: Cutting it in half.
Next time you order, simply ask to have your burger sliced in half, which is especially helpful if you love to pile on some of the chain's famous (and messy) toppings.
Surprisingly, there are also ways to customize your bun at In-N-Out, like asking for it to be extra toasted or left out entirely (called a Flying Dutchman on the secret menu).
No matter which secret menu extras you request, getting your burger cut in half makes it a lot more manageable and less messy to hold and eat — unless you have no bun to hold.
