The Simple Hack For Delectable Indoor S'mores
By Julia Mullaney
Making s'mores indoors might not have the same magic as holding sticks with marshmallows over a campfire, but it's easier to clean up and won't make you smell like smoke.
Simply poke a large skewer through the marshmallows and toast them on top of your toaster. The heat from the empty slots will give them that perfect golden-brown color.
The concentrated heat will crisp them to gooey perfection without any hassle, though you'll have to rotate them once halfway through cooking to evenly brown both sides.
You may need to adjust the heat settings on your toaster to get the desired crispness. Be sure to keep an eye on the marshmallows so they don't burn.
The marshmallows will be very hot when they're done, so be careful if you're making them with kids. Then, add them to a graham cracker with chocolate, and enjoy.
If you don't have a toaster, there are several other ways to make s'mores indoors, including using a gas stovetop, your oven's broiler, or an air fryer.
