The Parchment Paper Loaf Pan Hack That Will Easily Better Your Bakes
By Betsy Parks
Parchment paper is great for easier baking and cleanup, but its silicone coating and the fact that it's commonly on a roll make fitting it into your loaf pan quite the struggle.
The solution is to press and pinch or fold the paper around the outside of the pan to find its unique edges and dimensions, then fold it to fit perfectly inside your pan.
Cut a rectangular piece of parchment that's big enough to line the pan, then flip your loaf pan upside down and place the parchment, centered, on the bottom.
Fold and crease the edges around the sides like you would fold wrapping paper around a gift. You can also pinch the corners as a guide and fold the creases after removing the pan.
Simply pop the paper in the pan and pour in the batter. You can also use binder clips to hold down any long bits of parchment so they don't stick to the loaf.
