The Pantry Dressing That Pairs Perfectly With Tender Shrimp
By Missy Boylan
There are many ways to prepare and dress up shrimp, but for a match made in heaven that couldn't be easier to whip up, you should pair the shellfish with this popular dressing.
Classic Thousand Island dressing is a mayo-based, creamy, tangy condiment that adds extra richness and brightness to salty, tender shrimp, making them an excellent duo.
The Kitchn’s Alexis deBoschnek recommends serving the dressing with poached shrimp, which you can prepare very easily before combining it with a delicious homemade dressing.
To make Thousand Island, combine ¾ cup mayonnaise, ¼ cup ketchup, 1 clove garlic, 2 tablespoons dill pickles, and 2 teaspoons champagne, white wine, or distilled white vinegar.
