The NYC Restaurants Rachael Ray Can't Get Enough Of
By Nick Johnson
The sheer number of eateries located in New York City makes it nearly impossible to choose a place for dinner. Thankfully, in a 2022 interview with TimeOut New York, celebrity chef Rachael Ray shared a list of New York City restaurants that, to her, are must-visits.
The first eatery Ray named was Via Carota, a well-known restaurant with rustic decor and a menu that features classic Italian dishes and an extensive list of wines and cocktails. The chef also likes to go across the street from Via Carota and hit up Bar Pisellino, an Italian-inspired bar that offers classic Italian cocktails, espresso drinks, and a selection of small food plates.
Ray also enjoys dining at Brooklyn's Oxomoco and Long Island City's Casa Enrique, both of which are Michelin-starred Mexican restaurants, with the latter being owned by chef Cosme Aguilar. Other NYC eateries Ray likes to stop at include the ramen restaurant Ippudo and the Israeli skewer house Laser Wolf (owned by Michael Solomonov).
