The Hidden Indiana Jones Bar Inside Of
Disney World
By Chris Day
Despite him only having a minor role in the “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” Disney felt the character Jock Lindsey deserved recognition and created Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar to honor the brave pilot. Disney is known for its theming, from the parks to the resorts and restaurants, and the crew works hard to ensure their guests feel immersed in that imaginary world.
The entrance of the bar features Jock Lindsey's portrait, a bookshelf containing the fertility idol Indy risked his life for, and Indy's iconic satchel hanging nearby. Nearby the bathroom, there's a display case holding the medallion Indiana Jones used to find the ark, and there are plenty of references to another George Lucas-penned film, "Star Wars."
You'll see creative drinks on the menu at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, including a fruity beverage called Reggie's Revenge, 20 different beers, and four tasty mocktails. Like all the hidden treasures in the movies, this gem is hidden too, but it can be found in The Landing within Disney Springs.
