The Girl Scouts Samoas Copycat You Can Find Year-Round At Aldi
By Elizabeth Pak
Finding their delicious cookies is nearly impossible when Girl Scout cookie-selling season is over. Thankfully, one cookie label recreates the famous caramel, coconut, and chocolate-striped Girl Scout cookies, Samoas, which can be found at Aldi all year round.
Aldi's in-house cookie brand, Benton, sells the Samoa-inspired cookie, Caramel Coconut Fudge Cookies, for just $1.39. Compared with Girl Scout Samoas, you'll be able to buy almost four boxes of Caramel Coconut Fudge Cookies for the price of one, as Girl Scout-branded cookies sell for $5.00 a box.
Little Brownie Baker states that Samoas are 142 calories per two cookies and contain 10 grams of sugar, while Aldi's Caramel Coconut Fudge Cookies are 130 calories per two cookies with 11 grams of sugar, according to Aldi Reviewer. The two are practically the same, but one is much cheaper and available all year at Aldi.
