It's tough to beat a grilled cheese sandwich, but there's usually a disparity between serving a single sandwich and multiples of them. There has to be a better way to feed a crowd, and luckily, Parade has a helpful hack for making multiple sandwiches at once.

Instead of using a traditional griddle, Parade recommends cooking your grilled cheese in the oven. Start by preheating two rimmed baking sheets in a 450-degree Fahrenheit oven, prepare as many sandwiches as will fit onto the baking sheet, and add the fat of your choice to each side of the sandwich, like butter or mayo.

Pull one sheet pan out and onto a cooling rack, load with sandwiches, top with the second baking sheet, return this to the oven, and in 10 to 15 minutes, the sandwiches will be perfectly melted and golden brown. It's a good idea to flip the sandwiches halfway through cooking to ensure even browning, and in the end, you've got eight to 10 sandwiches with only two pans to toss into the dishwasher.
