The Easy Tip You Need For The Best-Tasting White Chocolate Cookies
By Riya Anne Polcastro
White chocolate chips often miss a key, flavorful ingredient: cocoa butter. Skip the fake chips in favor of a white chocolate bar made with real cocoa butter when making cookies.
Make sure the chocolate's label lists cocoa butter as one of the first ingredients. Instead of dumping the bar in like you would with the chips, melt it and add it to the batter.
Once you've melted the bar, use it as a substitute for half of the butter to ensure the delicious cocoa and vanilla flavors fully permeate the cookies while enhancing the texture.
Additionally, since butter has such a strong flavor, cutting the total amount in your recipe by half will give the more delicate white chocolate a chance to shine.
