The Easy Hack For Keeping Mixing Bowls In Place On The Counter
By Stacie Adams
A sliding mixing bowl can put you at risk of injury when using an electric hand mixer, which can render you out of commission in the kitchen until you're fully healed.
Adding ingredients to the bowl while mixing can feel nearly impossible without a stand mixer. Using a damp towel to stabilize the bowl will free up the hand you'd use to hold it.
Simply wet a kitchen towel and wring it out so it's damp but not soaking wet. From there, fold the towel and place it under the bowl for added support.
You can also form the towel into a ring-like shape and place the bowl in the middle. This will create a nest for your bowl, freeing up both hands for mixing ingredients.
