The Drive-Thru Queso Ree Drummond Can't Stop Thinking About

Ree Drummond fans know how much The Pioneer Woman loves cheese, leading her to perfect her versions of rich dishes like macaroni and cheese and more than one variety of queso. However, Drummond has a particular taste for these quesos that are surprisingly not her own recipes.
In an interview, Drummond talks about a restaurant near her daughter's college called Fuego Tortilla Grill, and apparently, it offers an out-of-this-world queso dip which Drummond claims is "the best queso I ever had." A year after her interview, Drummond admits to having found another favorite queso at another popular Mexican chain in Texas called Torchy's Tacos.
The down-to-earth chef admits in a blog post that she loves both queso varieties as they are quite different. Torchy's Taco's "green chile queso" includes green chiles, Cotija cheese, its signature Diablo sauce, guacamole, and cilantro, while Fuego Tortilla Grill's queso features roasted poblano peppers and pepper jack cheese.
