The Clever Foil Hack That Gives Turkey Bacon Extra Texture
By Camryn Teder
Turkey bacon boasts a hearty, complex taste and is slightly lower in calories, making it a good swap for those who don't eat pork and want a healthier bacon option.
However, if you're not a fan of turkey bacon's texture, you can still obtain normal bacon's wavy, crunchy makeup by placing aluminum foil underneath the strips while they cook.
Lay this folded foil on top of the baking sheet and place your turkey bacon on top of it, gently pressing the soft flesh into the valleys of the foil so they take a wavy shape.
Finally, place the baking sheet in the oven or air fryer and cook the strips until they are crispy, resulting in beautifully curved and perfectly textured turkey bacon.
