The Classic Dressing That Instantly Upgrades Boxed Mac And Cheese

Boxed mac and cheese may taste good, but it's not gourmet. However, you can add a burst of flavor and creaminess to your standard recipe by adding ranch.
While you could mix pre-made ranch into your mac and cheese, consider using a ranch seasoning packet instead. About two teaspoons is enough for some serious flavor.
Mix the ranch seasoning and cheese packet into the milk and butter separately before adding to the noodles, adjusting the milk quantity as needed.
For an even tastier dish, skip the cheese powder and use fresh cheese. Increase the amount of ranch mix since the sauce won't be as salty as it would be with the powdered cheese.
