The Cheese Trick That Cleverly Upgrades Canned Biscuits
By Asia McLain
Store-bought biscuits, known for their convenience, fall short in comparison to the buttery goodness of homemade buttermilk biscuits.
However, cheese, the secret ingredient, can transform canned biscuits, providing a taste reminiscent of homemade biscuits. Cheese elevates
them to a whole new level.
To enhance store-bought biscuits, opt for flaky layers-style ones, separate the layers, and add ½ ounce of sliced cheese between each biscuit layer inside a muffin tin.
Bake according to package directions, and for an extra buttery touch, brush the tops with quality butter before baking, resulting in a homemade-style, pull-apart texture.
