The Best Way To Achieve Perfectly Centered Yolks In Your Deviled Eggs

The ideal deviled egg has a perfectly centered yolk, but this result is difficult to achieve. Luckily, there‘s a surefire way to ensure those yolks are centered every time.
The yolk settles toward the bottom when you store egg cartons in the fridge. For centered yolks, start by closing the carton with rubber bands the day before you cook them.
Then, set the carton sideways in the fridge until you're ready to make the eggs, allowing time for the yolks to shift from the bottom of the egg to the center.
Another added benefit to centering the yolks is that it makes it easier to remove the yolk without breaking the egg white.
