The Best Time Of Day To Find A Fresh Rotisserie Chicken At Whole Foods
By Crystal Antonace
If you care about the nutrition behind your grab-and-go meals, Whole Foods rotisserie chickens may be a solid option for an easy and healthy family dinner. Although they churn out many whole or lemon-herb roasted chickens per day, this is the best time of day to snag one.
The Krazy Coupon Lady states that rotisserie chickens are cooked and put out every four hours at the natural grocer, with the first ready for sale around 10:00 in the morning. However, Whole Foods Market's principal culinary program manager, Carolina Martinez, advises waiting until around 11:00 or noon for plenty of chickens to choose from at your neighborhood store (per Kitchn).
You can also call ahead and reserve a hot chicken to pick up at a more convenient time, and if you're an Amazon Prime member, you can even save 10% on the cost. So, if you're after a freshly prepared healthy meal accompaniment without any additives, Whole Foods' rotisserie chickens may be an option to consider.
