The 2 Groceries You Need For
A Copycat Starbucks Iced Tea Lemonade
By Arianna Endicott
Having worked at Starbucks while in college, Heidi was well-familiar with the drinks served at the famous coffee chain. With this experience, she was able to recreate a home version of one of her favorite Starbucks drinks, an iced black tea lemonade, using just two ingredients that are easily found in grocery stores.
Heidi explained that the first ingredient you need is Tazo Earl Grey tea bags, which you should use in the ratio of one cup of water per tea packet while brewing. Meanwhile, the second ingredient is a can of frozen lemonade concentrate, with Trader Joe's variety being her preferred brand.
To make a pitcher of her iced tea lemonade, combine four cups of tea and ice with the canned lemonade concentrate, add two cans of water to dilute the concentrate, and place it in the fridge to chill for a few hours before serving. But if you want to enjoy your drink right away, add ice and shake the drink up to 10 times to get it perfectly cold.
