Texas Roadhouse Copycat Rolls Use One Ingredient In Every Step
By Mikala Lugen
From Olive Garden’s breadsticks to Cheesecake Factory’s baguette and brown bread, there are many great bread options from chain restaurants, but the best bread has to be the rolls from Texas Roadhouse. If you don’t live near a Texas Roadhouse, thankfully there’s a way to make their delicious rolls at home, but make sure you have a lot of this one ingredient on hand.
If you want to make your own copycat buttery Texas Roadhouse dinner rolls — perhaps to serve for a holiday dinner party — all you need is some milk, yeast, sugar, eggs, egg yolks, flour, salt, and a lot of butter. Both melted and solid butter plays an integral role in making these rolls, from forming the dough to the butter glaze to the cinnamon-honey butter served on the side.
To make these delicious rolls for yourself, first prep your yeast by mixing it with warm water and sugar and letting it sit until it starts to foam. Then add in your room temperature milk, butter, sugar, eggs, salt, and flour to form a dough and let it rise in a warm area. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees, brush with melted butter, and serve with cinnamon-honey butter.
