Despite the general knowledge that their food isn’t the healthiest, you probably still love McDonald’s, and you’re definitely not alone — in 2022 alone, the chain made over $13 billion. It’s the favorite franchise of several celebrity chefs, including "The Great British Bake Off" judge Paul Hollywood, who has his own go-to order.

After filling his stomach with sugar on set, Hollywood develops an intense craving for a salty snack, which he satiates with his go-to order of a Big Mac and large fry. Salt and grease serve as combatants against the piles of carefully crafted cakes that he eats all day while judging "Bake Off."

Hollywood is not the only chef of note who enjoys McDonald's signature Big Mac sandwich — Chef Kevin Tien of Washington, D.C.'s Hot Lola's admires that McDonald's consistently puts out a quality product. In an interview, chef Tyler Akin of Wilmington, Delaware's Le Cavalier claimed that the Big Mac represents the absolute apex of fast-food items.
