No, You Can't Go To Olive Garden Only For Unlimited Breadsticks
By Allie Ward
The allure of the unlimited breadsticks at Olive Garden is hard to resist, but that doesn't mean you can stroll into Olive Garden, sit down, and just have its free breadsticks.
Some reports claim that waiters and waitresses aren't technically supposed to bring the first complimentary basket of breadsticks until an order is placed.
Other stories state that staff are not allowed to deliver a second complimentary basket beyond the initial one until the table places an order.
Dining at Olive Garden just for its unlimited breadsticks would also be a rude thing to do to the waitstaff because it takes up their time and ability to earn tips.
However, if you only want breadsticks, Olive Garden offers an order of six baked breadsticks for $4.49, 12 for $6.79, or unbaked sticks you can make in the comfort of your home.
