Mince A Whole Bunch Of Garlic In A Flash With A Kitchen Tool Hack
By Kalea Martin
If a recipe calls for a lot of garlic and you don't feel like going through the tedious process of mincing garlic with a garlic press, bring out your meat tenderizer.
There's no need to peel each clove one by one. Instead, simply give the cloves a smash with the skin on, allowing for easier and faster removal.
Once the skin is removed, don't pound them right away because the cloves might start flying off, especially if you laid out a ton of them on your chopping board.
Put the cloves in a Ziploc bag or wrap them in some plastic wrap. This will allow you to pound the garlic until it's minced to your liking.
Smashing garlic with a meat tenderizer will also result in a stronger garlic taste compared to garlic that's been minced with a knife.
