McDonald's Employees Aren't Too Pleased When Adults Order Happy Meals

McDonald's prioritizes efficiency in its operations, but some orders are more complex than others to prepare. Happy Meals pose a challenge, particularly with drive-thru orders.
When ordering a Happy Meal, it helps to pick out all the choices beforehand, as the staff member must ask certain questions before continuing your order.
They can't move on to the next steps until they receive answers. Many customers are unaware of the protocols for ordering Happy Meals, which leads to confusion at the drive-thru.
McDonald's currently offers a few Happy Meal options to customers: a classic hamburger or cheeseburger or a four-piece or six-piece order of chicken McNuggets.
The meal comes with a child-sized order of fries and apple slices and a beverage of low-fat milk, water, apple juice, or low-fat chocolate milk.
The most important choice, at least for the child, is toy selection. McDonald's has a Happy Meal website with the current assortment of toys, but availability varies per location.
