It's So Easy To Add Homemade Flavor To Canned Chicken Noodle Soup
By Jessica Fleming-Montoya
You can easily fix a flavorless can of chicken noodle soup by stirring in some of your own cooked chicken, giving it an extra kick of protein and heartiness.
Unlike bland, dry chicken that comes in store-bought soup, freshly cooked chicken has a juicier bite and stronger flavor, resulting in a soup that tastes homemade.
Leftover chicken breasts or rotisserie chicken work great, and the broth will reheat them without drying them out. Remove the skin before adding, and avoid using breaded chicken.
Don't forget to cut, chop, or shred the chicken you choose. The goal is to create bite-sized chunks that are easy to scoop up alongside the noodles and veggies.
