Is Stride Gum Still Around Today?
By Kalea Martin
Stride gum was launched in 2006 by Cadbury's U.S. division and heavily advertised its long-lasting texture, unique flavors, and vitamins.
Kraft Foods (now called Mondelēz International) acquired the brand in 2010. The recipe and packaging were changed shortly after, and the product was rebranded as Stride 2.0.
The gum later disappeared from shelves. The last time the brand ever confirmed its availability was back in 2019, responding to a fan on its no-longer-existent Twitter page.
Years later, people on Twitter are still talking about Stride gum, remembering it fondly and wishing it would come back, even though many people didn't buy it in the past.
