While vodka is commonly stored in the freezer, you may wonder if whiskey can be kept chilled the same way.
Good whiskey has a high content of volatiles like alcohol, esters, and terpenes, creating a symphony of flavors and aromas and an enjoyable sensory experience.
Keeping whiskey at sub-zero temperatures will damage and dull your perception of the volatiles, making it seem less rich and lacking flavor and diminishing the tasting experience.
