How To Hack A Taco Bell Burrito To Receive More Bang For Your Buck
By Kalea Martin
Taco Bell's Beefy 5-Layer Burrito costs $3.59, but you can get practically the same thing for just $2 when ordering the Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito from the Cravings Value Menu.
The Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito costs $1, and a self-identified Taco Bell employee on TikTok suggests adding beef for an extra dollar and asking for it to be grilled for free.
While the burritos are similar, there are a few key differences. The hacked Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito features beef, beans, nacho cheese, rice, and creamy Jalapeno sauce.
The Beefy 5-Layer Burrito contains seasoned beef, beans, nacho cheese, shredded cheese, and reduced-fat sour cream. Though slightly different, you'll get a 5-layer burrito for $2.
You can upgrade other $1 items by adding chicken for $1.50, steak for $1.70, and add-ons like beans, potatoes, lettuce, and tomatoes for under $1 to maximize your order.
