Costco is well-known for its cheap, cheerful pies during the holidays, but some locations have had to limit customers to only one pie during their visit.
On Reddit, a self-identified Costco employee claimed their location sold 650 pumpkin pies in an hour, and photos and videos shared by shoppers nationwide can verify this statement.
One shot snapped by a shopper shows a utility cart packed with dozens of pies, while another shows a shopping cart's main, upper, and lower sections full of pies.
Before judging, think about how the shopper might be helping the less fortunate, as churches and homeless shelters often host free Thanksgiving meals with pumpkin pie.
On the other hand, pumpkin pie is a popular promotional gift from realtors to potential clients. "My realtor is my Costco pie dealer," one Reddit commenter said.
